Students

Our Wellbeing course that are taught across schools in Victoria are aimed to help teach our students the tools that they need now and in the future to be able to have a healthy wellbeing.

We incorporate a diverse yet flexible range of activities including music, singing, dance, drama, art, yoga IEFT and mindfulness meditation to encourage students wellbeing to grow.

These modalities assist children in their lives especially in a school environment, where they may feel stressed, have trouble managing their emotions and are just starting out at life. By teaching them mindfulness at a young age, we encourage them to take these skills with them throughout their lives.

Our techniques assist regulation and understanding of emotions, develop neural pathways, grow self-confidence, understanding themselves and bring about a sense of empowerment and self expression.

Michelles wellbeing journey is compassionately designed to soothe and regulate your mind and body, to cultivate a profound sense of trust and safety from within yourself.

The aim of her workshops are to release tension and curate relaxation, improving your mental health in your daily life. Michelle uses grounding breathing, IEFT, yoga, massage, sounds from nature, crystal bowls, voice, music and silence to be able to encourage a sense of connection to yourself, the world around you and your inner peace.

You don’t particularly have to be spiritual or accustomed to mindfulness techniques for Michelles program to benefit you. Everyone is welcome no matter what your goals are.

Our Wellbeing Workshops have been proven to:

    The connection between your mind and body has a greater impact than you might think. Mental phenomena such as depression, anxiety, and stress are "embodied experiences" that involve "the nervous and endocrine systems and affect muscle tension and bodily functions" (Vaughan et al., 2023). By participating in mindfulness practices that calm not only the brain but also the body, you are more likely to see lasting improvements in your mental well-being. Michelle's methods have been shown to effectively combat chronic stress, mood swings, physical fatigue, a weakened immune system, as well as muscle tension and pain—all achieved by strengthening the connection between the brain and body.

    Michelle aims to use sound as a tool to help you connect with yourself—discovering which sounds you like, which you dislike, which make you feel calm, and which make you feel aggravated. This calm and peaceful moment with yourself also allows space for the thoughts your busy mind might usually push aside. By taking time to explore your thoughts and feelings, you can build a deeper connection with yourself, helping you feel more confident and content.

    It is crucial to connect with your inner self in order to discover your beliefs, thoughts, fears, and the things that make you you.

  • Not only does sound therapy help you connect with yourself, but it has also been proven to be more successful than traditional CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy). Music therapy—along with general engagement in music—is an effective treatment for anxiety and depression. According to Andrew Budson, Chief of Cognitive and Behavioural Neurology at VHBAF, individuals who regularly listen to music experience lower levels of anxiety and depression, contributing to an overall greater sense of well-being.

    By incorporating crystal bowls, vibrations, frequencies, and the sounds of nature into our programs, we use sound healing to promote positive improvements in mental health.

    Mindfulness means paying full attention to what is going on around you. By integrating IEFT and sound healing into her work, Michelle aims to heighten your sense of touch and awareness of your surroundings—without relying on visual aids. Mindfulness trains you to notice when you’re distracted and to redirect your focus in a purposeful way. It can help improve your day-to-day life by enhancing concentration and memory, reducing distracting thoughts when trying to sleep, healing your relationship with food, and contributing to overall improvements in mental health.

    When stress arises, you may find yourself reacting impulsively to negative emotions without seeing the full picture—or becoming anxious about things that don’t deserve space in your life. By practicing mindfulness, you can develop the ability to separate your thoughts from your reactions to them. This puts you in the best position to manage your emotions calmly and effectively.
